Carin León and Grupo Frontera unite for their second top 10 on Billboard’s Regional Mexican Airplay chart, as “Alch Sí” flies from No. 21 to No. 7 on the chart dated Feb. 10. The song follows their previous top 10, “Que Vuelvas,” which hit No. 1 last year.

“Alch Sí” was released Nov. 30 via Socios and reaches the top 10 on the radio ranking with a robust 83% gain in audience impressions, to 4.84 million, earned during the Jan. 26-Feb. 1 tracking week. The jump gives indie label Socios its second top 10 on the 40-deep tally, after León’s own “Indispensable” led for three consecutive weeks in 2023.

“Alch Sí’s” 14-position surge is the biggest jump of 2024 so far and the largest gain since Los Angeles Azules and Maria Becerra’s “El Amor De Mi Vida” rallied 38-9 in its second week last September.

As “Alch Sí” lands at No. 7 on Regional Mexican Airplay, it earns both acts their 12th top 10. As “Alch Sí” jumps to No. 7 on Regional Mexican Airplay, it earns both acts their 12th top 10. León’s first top 10 came in 2019 with the No. 6-peaking “Me Levanté” and most recently hit the top 10 with one-week rule “Según Quién” in December 2023.

Grupo Frontera’s dozen top 10s have all come consecutively, and they’ve yet to miss the top 10 with any charting entry. The act’s first top 10 came with “No Se Va” in December of 2022 (peaking at No. 2) and they most recently visited the top 10 with “En Altavoz,” with Junior H, which spent two weeks at No. 1, beginning in December of 2023.

In addition to its Regional Mexican radio strength, “Alch Sí” debuts at No. 19 on the overall Latin Airplay list, the highest debut for León among 15 entries and the highest launch for Frontera since six-week champ “Un X100to,” with Bad Bunny, opened at No. 13 in May 2023.
