Clio Music & Billboard Present Fan Favorite Music in a Commercial: Vote!

As we enter a new year, we’re also taking a look back on the biggest achievements of 2023 in music. This year, Billboard has partnered with Clio Music to give fans the chance to choose the track they think represents the most creative use of music in a commercial from 2023.

Clio Music is renowned for celebrating creativity in the use of music in commercials, as selected by a jury of industry professionals. But for this, we’re asking you to weigh in on what you think was the most creative and culturally impactful use of music in a 2023 commercial.

There’s a lot to choose from.

ONE OK ROCK’s “Make It Out Alive” was a monster success for Niantic; Lainey Wilson’s “Heart Like a Truck” revved up Ram; Charli XCX’s “Speed Drive” put Chevrolet into overdrive; OneRepublic’s “RUNAWAY” went the extra mile for Jeep; Portugal. The Man’s “Dummy” was a smart pick from Taco Bell; Lil Baby and Gunna’s “Drip Too Hard” freshened up AXE; BLACKPINK’s “Shut Down” brightened up Walmart; Bad Bunny’s “Where She Goes” helped Pepsi pop; Kelis’ “Milkshake” brought everyone to Uber One’s yard; Mötley Crüe’s “Live Wire” electrified Acura; Anitta’s “Envolver” chipped in for Lay’s; and Latto’s “Big Energy” made noise for Sonic.

But which was your favorite? Vote for what you think was the most creative use of music in a 2023 commercial below. Voting will close at noon ET on Jan. 28. The winner will be unveiled during the 2024 Clio Music Awards on Jan. 31 at the NeueHouse Hollywood in Los Angeles.
