Barbra Streisand fans can finally shed “No More Tears” as the legendary singer and actress’ memoir finally hit shelves on Monday (Nov. 7). The new book titled My Name Is Barbra is not only a reference to her 1967 novel and TV special, but dives into her life story, from growing up in Brooklyn, getting her breakout role in Funny Girl and more.

According to the synopsis, you can expect the tone of the memoir to be just like Streisand herself, “frank, funny, opinionated and charming.” Within its 992 pages is the award-winning singer’s life story that the descriptions says includes “her early struggles to become an actress, eventually turning to singing to earn a living; the recording of some of her acclaimed albums; the years of effort involved in making Yentl; her direction of The Prince of Tides; her friendships with figures ranging from Marlon Brando to Madeleine Albright; her political advocacy; and the fulfillment she’s found in her marriage to James Brolin.”
